Celebrating 50 Years of Faithful Ministry: Honoring Pastor Blaise D. Polk, Sr.

This week, our Association joins together in celebration, reflection, and deep gratitude as we honor a beloved shepherd, Pastor Blaise D. Polk, Sr., who has faithfully preached the gospel for 50 years, served as a pastor for 35 years, and led Dove’s Nest Ministries with unwavering commitment for the past 12 years.

What a testimony of endurance, obedience, and unwavering love for God and His people.

Pastor Polk is more than a leader—he is an example. Week after week, he pours out his heart from the pulpit, teaches with clarity and conviction, and lives what he preaches. Whether he is delivering a fiery message that stirs spirits or offering a quiet word of encouragement, Pastor Polk carries the heart of a true servant-leader. His ministry is marked not only by powerful preaching, but by deep compassion, steadfast prayer, and a genuine love for souls.

Over five decades, countless lives have been touched, healed, and transformed through his obedience to God's call. And while he has accomplished much, Pastor Polk has never been one to seek the spotlight. Instead, he has faithfully pointed every moment of glory back to Christ.

This week, we joyfully name him our "Pastor of the Week," not just for a title, but to pause and give thanks for all the years he has stood strong, even when the journey was hard. To celebrate the legacy he is building. To honor the sacrifices we may never fully see. And to say with one voice: Thank you, Pastor. We love you. We honor you. And we are praying for you.
