This week, the churches of the San Felipe Baptist Association are excited to celebrate Pastor Lance Williams of The Grove Church in the Pecan Grove/Richmond area as our Pastor of the Week!

Pastor Lance is a committed servant of the Lord whose life reflects faithfulness both in ministry and at home. As a loving husband and devoted father, he pours his heart into his family, modeling Christ’s love in everything he does. When he’s not preaching and teaching the Word of God, you might find him on the field coaching youth sports, investing in the next generation not only with skills but with character and integrity.

Under his leadership, The Grove Church is experiencing an exciting season of growth. Pastor Lance is currently guiding his congregation through the process of purchasing property—a significant step in their mission to reach more people with the hope of the gospel. His vision and determination, fueled by a deep love for Jesus and for people, inspire those around him to press forward with faith.

We, as an association of churches, are grateful for leaders like Lance—men who serve humbly, lead boldly, and remain committed to making Christ known in their communities. Today, we honor his dedication, celebrate the work God is doing through him, and pray for continued wisdom, strength, and encouragement as he shepherds The Grove Church.
