The San Felipe Baptist Association joyfully celebrates Pastor John Crowe of River Bend Baptist Church in Fulshear, Texas, as this week’s Pastor of the Week! For 25 years, Pastor John has faithfully shepherded the people of River Bend and served the growing communities of Fulshear, Katy, and Richmond with unwavering dedication, compassion, and grace.

When Pastor John planted River Bend Baptist Church in 2000, he did so with a clear calling—to reach people with the love of Christ and build a church rooted in God’s Word and prayer. Over the years, that vision has blossomed into a thriving community of believers who love deeply, serve joyfully, and live missionally under his steady leadership.

Those who know Pastor John will tell you that he is a man of prayer and conviction. When he says he will pray for you, you can be certain he does. His ministry is grounded in that same faithfulness and integrity, and his genuine care for others shines through in every conversation. Whether he’s greeting you with his trademark warm smile or listening with compassion to someone in need, Pastor John leads with both humility and heart.

Pastor John also has a passion for missions that reaches far beyond Fulshear. He has led teams into the Amazon jungle of Peru and to many other corners of the world, carrying the gospel to people who have never heard the name of Jesus. His obedience to the Great Commission continues to inspire others to go, give, and pray.
