Happy New Year! And what a year it is going to be! Happy New Year from the San Felipe Baptist Association! As we step into 2026, our hearts are filled with gratitude, hope, and great anticipation for what the Lord has ahead for our churches. A new year brings a new season of ministry—one filled with fresh opportunities to collaborate in Christ to reach the lost, raise the next generation of church leaders, and revitalize the church. We truly believe the days ahead hold incredible potential as we labor together for the sake of the gospel. Before looking forward, we pause to give thanks. The Lord has been faithful in 2025. He has provided, sustained, and guided our churches through both blessings and challenges. As we reflect on His goodness, we are reminded that God never changes. He is fully aware of the plans He has for us—plans for hope and a future, just as the prophet Jeremiah declared. With that confidence, we move into the new year trusting Him completely. There are many exciting opportunities for gospel collaboration in the months ahead. One of the highlights will be the Church Strengthening Conference on January 31, 2026. We encourage every church to consider participating as we gather to be encouraged, equipped, and renewed for faithful ministry. You can find full details at www.sfbatx.org/csc2026. As we make plans, set goals, and form resolutions for the year ahead, let us prayerfully consider how we can strengthen our personal walk with Christ through intentional study, meaningful community discipleship, and faithful service to those in our circles who are far from Him. What a blessing it is to know that Christ goes before us, already preparing divine appointments for us to proclaim the good news of the gospel and invite others into an eternal relationship with Him. Thank you for your faithful support this past year. We look forward to how God will use us together to serve, support, and resource the gospel impact of our local churches—throughout our association and to the ends of the earth. 2026 is going to be an amazing year, and the best part is—we get to do it together. Happy New Year! |
