The Power That Lives in You

The Power That Lives in You

More Than a Single Miracle!

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the ultimate hinge of history. It didn't just change how we account for time; it redefined eternity. Imagine the sheer magnitude: the same power that conquered the grave and breathed life back into the Savior is the very same power available to you today.

As Paul reminds us in Romans 8:11:

"If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you."

A Love That Knew You First

Many struggle to understand why someone would die for a stranger. But here is the beautiful truth: You are not a stranger to Him. Before you were even born, He knit you together. He knew every mistake you would make and chose the cross anyway. He promised a "Helper"—the Holy Spirit—to dwell within us, acting as a bridge between our earthly lives and His divine holiness. This Spirit draws us in, whispering the truth that though we are sinful, we are forgiven and being made new.

Your Call to Action: Be the Witness

The resurrection wasn't just a promise for the afterlife; it’s an equipping for the here and now. Through the Holy Spirit, we are given the power to be witnesses (Acts 1:8). So, how do we live out this resurrection power?

  • Be Assured: Your resurrection is guaranteed through faith. Walk with the confidence of someone who knows the end of the story!

  • Be Equipped: You are never sent out empty-handed. The Holy Spirit provides specific gifts tailored to your unique mission. Lean into those tools.

  • Be Engaged: The world is searching for the peace you carry. People are looking for God, even if they don’t have the words for it yet. Share your story!

  • Be Obedient: We don’t "save" people—that’s God’s job. Our role is simply to partner with Him. Our success isn't measured by a "yes" or "no" from others, but by our faithfulness to share the Good News.

He is Risen, and we are on mission! This week, who will you invite into the light of your resurrection story?
