Better TogetherThe Power of Collaborative Ministry There is something truly electric about what happens when the people of God move in one direction. In his letter to the Philippian church, the Apostle Paul couldn’t hide his excitement; he was overjoyed to see them worshipping, serving, and working together for the sake of the Gospel. That same spirit is the heartbeat of the San Felipe Baptist Association. We exist to serve, support, and resource the gospel impact of the local church. We aren’t just a collection of buildings; we are a collaborative family modeled after the early church in Acts 2:42:
A Beautiful Tapestry of PartnershipCollaboration is one of the greatest gifts God has given us. Whether we are traveling across the globe to support new believers or stepping up for disaster relief when a sister church is in need, we are fulfilling the call of Hebrews 10:24: “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.” We are seeing this "stirring up" happen all across our Association right now! It is inspiring to see trust and unity growing through real-world partnerships:
You’re Invited: A Night of Worship & PrayerWe want to invite you to experience this unity firsthand! On Sunday, April 19, 2026, worship leaders from Calvary Baptist (Rosenberg), Twin City Community Church, and First Wallis Baptist Church are gathering for a powerful night of prayer and praise. Five of our association pastors will lead us through the Lord’s Prayer as we collaborate to celebrate all He has done. We will start with a brief first-quarter business report and then dive straight into worship—featuring everything from contemporary styles to a classic hymn sing. It’s going to be an absolute blast, and we want every church represented! Summer Collaboration: Raising the Next GenerationThe gospel impact continues this summer through our partner youth camps. We are all about reaching the lost and raising leaders, and these camps are the perfect place to start:
Let’s Work TogetherThe Christian life was never meant to be a solo act. As we strive to reach the lost and revitalize our churches, we do so through the power of the Holy Spirit and an intentional desire to work as one. Do you have a collaborative event in the works? Or maybe you have a vision for a partnership but aren't sure where to start? Reach out to our Executive Director, Jon Davis, at jon@sfbatx.org. Let’s collaborate for the Gospel! |
